Laser Hair Removal
Our Cool Glide laser has a built-in cooling tip that not only helps to protect the skin but also helps to minimize discomfort.
Laser hair removal for women, men and teens provide more permanent removal of body hair than waxing or shaving. It usually requires a series of treatments to achieve permanent results.
Try this innovative technology if you are ready to permanently say goodbye to that pesky, unwanted body and facial hair.
How effective is laser hair removal?
Laser hair removal works best when there is color in the hair. Dark hair responds best and white hair does not respond at all. Electrolysis is effective for white hair and Dermaplane is effective for fine, vellous facial "peach fuzz".
How many treatments are necessary?
Most people achieve satisfactory clearance after six treatments.
What does it feel like?
The laser treatment may feel like a mild sting for a fraction of a second, similar to a rubber band snapping against your skin. The laser has a built-in cooling tip that not only protects the skin but also helps to minimize discomfort.
How long do the treatments take?
An upper lip and chin can be done in 5 - 10 minutes. Underarms or bikini lines usually take 15 - 20 minutes. Legs and backs take longer. Very often, follow-up treatments are shorter, because there is much less hair to treat.
Laser hair removal is FDA approved and is safe for all skin colors.
Electrolysis is a safe and effective way of removing individual hairs from the face or body. Modern electrolysis devices destroy the growth center of the hair with chemical or heat energy. This is a form of hair removal that is permanent and relatively painless. This service requires multiple sessions depending on the size of the area you wish to be rid of hair.
Electrolysis is effective on white, gray and fine hair. It is used for permanent eyebrow shaping to sculpt the perfect eyebrow for you.
Dermaplaning is a form of manual exfoliation similar in theory to microdermabrasion but without the use of suction or abrasive crystals. An esthetician grade, sterile blade is stroked along the skin at an angle to gently “shave off” dead skin cells from the epidermis. Dermaplaning also temporarily removes the fine vellus hair of the face, leaving a very smooth surface.
As with any type of exfoliation, the removal of dead skin cells allows home care products to be more effective, reduces the appearance of fine lines, evens skin tone and assists in reducing milia, closed and open comedones, and minor breakouts associated with congested pores.
